Fully automatic 2-strip clean molding system, with class 100 cleanroom particle control. Designed for particle-sensitive devices such as camera sensors, DVD chips and optical packages. Main press section and degating station are separate and equipped with individually controlled cleaning units to ensure clean operation. Equipped with double film technology to minimize pollution.

Ultra-clean molding.

With the Unistar-Auto-Clean-2-FF-L molding system, a class 100 cleanroom is maintained within the main press section and the separate degating section through laminar flow units and heppa filters. The laminar flow units ensure that cured and uncured compound particles are removed and do not reach above mold level. Boschman Technologies' two-film approach consisting of completely covered molds with film (top and bottom) yields significant contamination risk reduction as fresh film is used for each shot. Die-down handling and molding are used wherever possible, realizing flash-free exposed die surfaces and limiting small particles through smooth package edge radii, with the absence of ejectors preventing particles.
